The TennCare pharmac y benefits manager administers the pharmacyclaims system, an onlind system that processes all pharmacy transactions. It also helps administerr TennCare's preferred drug list; manages the pharmacy provides pharmacists with weekly payments fortheidr services; and generates weekly encounter data and reconciliatiohn services for the TennCare Bureau.
Through its $650 million annuapl pharmacy program, TennCare fills about 1 million claims a SXC HealthSolutions (NYSE: SXC) provides pharmacy benefitzs management support to Medicaid programes in such states as Georgia, Vermont and Washington. The company reportedc $93.1 million in 2007 revenue fromits U.S. and Canadiajn operations.
